Afterimage is a game in which a great goddess created a world called Engardine and left, leaving four giants to maintain order in the world. But the ambitions of humans led to a long war with the giants, resulting in Engardine being devastated by a great explosion known as the Annihilation. This cataclysm disrupted the divine order and led to the decline of humanity.
 
The survivors, cut off from the source of humanity and denied the possibility of rebirth, established settlements throughout Engardin. Over time, these settlements began to be attacked by mysterious forces, and only a girl named Renee, a student of Aros, survived the attack on her village.
 
Renee loses her memory and embarks on a journey to regain her memories and find her missing mentor. Her adventures set off a chain of events that will shape the future of the new world.
 
In Afterimage, players will explore the world of Engardine, recovering Renee's memories and trying to unravel the mysteries of this enigmatic world.
