В игре Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery разработчики решили рассказать о событиях, которые развернулись в Хогвартсе до зачисления самого Гарри, когда в школе учились Нимфадора Тонкс и Билл Уизли. Переступив порог обители магии и волшебства, вы выберите один из четырех доступных факультетов, а затем приступите к обучению, полному загадок и испытаний.

Отличительной особенностью Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery является так называемая система контактов, влияющая на развитие основного сюжета. Ваши решения в течение всего прохождения будут изменять ход истории и вызывать определенный отклик у окружающих вас персонажей.
